Question: is there a cable or a converter for a scsi to a usb?
Answer: There are "breakout" boxes that convert SCSI to USB, such as this one by Adaptec: http://www.cwol.com/usb/usb-scsi-adapter-adaptec.htm However, considering that USB 2.0 scanners cost less than $100 these days and will almost certainly be multifold improvements over your SCSI device, why not upgrade?
