Answer: I've been around the block on this one. First, try a 9V adapter. If that doesn't work, try a 12V adapter. You're never going to find a 9.5V adapter unless you can get Emerson to cough one up... and that ain't likely. Just make sure whatever adapter you use has the current capability (amps or milliamps) of the original adapter.
