Question: i am talking about the actual toolbox not what is in it reason: i am making a wooden one at school. thanx
Answer: Depends on the kind of toolbox. But I guess you're talking about the "domestic" type so here goes my list of must haves: + A strong handle and structure - Laugh if you want; but it is not funny when a HEAVY toolbox breaks and all the wrenches and stuff fall out, as Murphy will put it, on the most fragile and/or tender object in sight (including your feet) + Two stages, the kind which move to the side when you open the toolbox to put all that teflon, insulating tape, screws, etc. + A big space at the bottom for wrenches, hammer, scewdrivers... you name it.
